  • Your renewal letter or rate sheet
  • An employee list — names or initials, dates of birth, zip codes, coverage level, job titles and annual salary. Salary and job title are needed to quote life and disability insurance
  • Plan summaries or benefit guides
  • Anything you've sent employees about their benefits
  • Recent bills from your carriers

About these terms

These terms apply when you send information to People Processes through this page. People Processes is the trade name of Poplar Insurance Agency, Inc. ("we", "us"). By ticking the box below, you agree to them on behalf of your company.

The service

We prepare a free, no-obligation benefits quote and, if you send your current provider's contract or invoices, a review of their fees. A quote is an estimate: final rates are set by the insurance carriers and depend on their underwriting. Nothing we send you is a binding offer of coverage, and you don't have to buy anything from us.

Our quote and fee review are based on the information you give us. If that information is incomplete or out of date, the results may be too.

What you send us

You confirm that you're authorized to share the documents and information you send, including information about your employees, so that we can prepare your quote. Please don't send Social Security numbers — we don't need them to quote.

Our confidentiality commitment

We treat everything you send us as confidential — your documents, your employees' information, and your company's financial and contract details. Specifically:

  • We use your information only to prepare your quote and fee review and to talk with you about them.
  • We share it only with the insurance carriers and underwriters we ask to quote your group, and only what they need to do that.
  • We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use it to market to your employees.
  • Only the people preparing your quote can see it, and they're required to keep it confidential.
  • We may disclose it if the law requires us to — for example, under a subpoena or court order. Where the law allows, we'll tell you first.
  • We store it securely. If you'd like us to delete your documents, email us and we will, unless the law requires us to keep them. If you become a client, they become part of your client file.
  • This commitment continues after your quote is complete, whether or not you become a client.

  • A plain-English breakdown of your provider's fees, if you sent their contract or invoices: administration fees — whether charged per employee or as a percentage of payroll — plus anything bundled in, shown as a cost per employee per month you can compare.
  • A short call to walk you through both.

Your documents are safe

  • Uploaded and stored securely.
  • Seen only by the people preparing your quote, and shared only with the insurance carriers we request quotes from.
  • Never sold, never used for anything else.
  • Please remove Social Security numbers before uploading — we don't need them to quote.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?
Yes. Every company we talk to gets a free quote. There's no obligation, and if your current plan is the better deal, we'll tell you.
What if I don't have an employee list?
Send what you have. A renewal letter is enough to start, and we'll tell you exactly what else we need.
What if my PEO won't give me my employee information?
It happens. After you submit, we'll send you a short, ready-to-send request you can forward to your PEO.
Who sees my information?
Only the people preparing your quote, and the insurance carriers we ask to quote. We never sell it.
Do I have to be leaving my PEO?
No. Plenty of companies just want a second opinion on a renewal.
How long does it take?
It depends on what you send and when your plan renews. We'll give you a date on our first call.
